At our Holland, MI office, you are more than teeth and gums. You are part of our circle of family and friends. The relationship that we build with you over time is very important to us and makes your experience here unique.
Our 15-member staff of dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, scheduling coordinators and a financial coordinator is led by Dr. Thomas Stout and Dr. Daniel Gordon.
DR. THOMAS STOUT is a 1978 graduate of West Ottawa High School. In 1982, he graduated from Hope College with a degree in Chemistry.
In 1985, he graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and then did a one-year General Dental Practice residency at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. In October 1986, Dr. Stout opened his Family Dental Practice in Holland.
Dr. Stout is married. He and his wife Diane have two girls, Kelsey and Allison. Dr. Stout attends Victory Point Church and enjoys family time, racquetball, golf, and fishing.
DR. DANIEL GORDON grew up in Hillsdale, MI and graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1992. In 1997, he graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Biology. In 2001, he graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Gordon served in the United States Air Force from 2001 to 2004 as an active duty Dental Officer. While in the Air Force, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. In July 2004, he joined Dr. Stout here in Holland.
Dr. Gordon is married. He and his wife Cherese have five children, Jamin, Stella, Zander, Adaira, and Titus. Dr. Gordon is an active member of Bauer Community Fellowship Church and enjoys biking, playing basketball, and spending time with his family.
Renae is our Scheduling Coordinator. Renae has worked for Dr. Stout and Dr. Gordon since 2005. She is responsible for scheduling appointments for the doctors, insurance billing, and assisting patients with payment arrangements. She is fluent in English and Spanish. She enjoys camping and spending time with her family.
Emme is our Scheduling Coordinator for the Hygienists. Emme has been with the practice since 2003. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Nichole is our Financial Coordinator. Nichole has been with us since 2004. She is responsible for insurance billing and assisting patients with payment arrangements. If you have a financial or insurance question, she would be happy to help you. Nichole enjoys camping with her family and scrapbooking
Katie is a Registered Dental Assistant. A graduate of Grand Rapids Community College, she greets and seats the doctors' patients and assists with all procedures. Katie primarily assists Dr. Gordon, and she has been with our practice since 2005. She enjoys walking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Heidi is a Registered Dental Assistant. A graduate of Lake Michigan Community College, she greets and seats the doctors' patients and assists with all procedures. Heidi primarily assists Dr. Stout, and she has been with our practice since 2002. Heidi enjoys many outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
Judy is a Dental Assistant who greets and seats the doctors' patients and assists with all procedures. She joined our practice in 2002, and she primarily assists Dr. Stout. She has over 29 years experience. Her interests include camping, traveling, scrapbooking, and oil and water painting.
Kenna is a Registered Dental Hygienist. Kenna graduated from Grand Rapids Community College and has over 30 years experience. Her interests include dance, spending time with family and church friends, and restoring cars and going to car shows with her husband.
Kammy is a Registered Dental Assistant who absolutely loves her job! She joined our practice in 2005, and she is a graduate from Lake Michigan College. She primarily assists Dr. Gordon and has over 15 years experience in the dental field. Her interests include spending time with her family, playing guitar, singing in her church worship band, stained glass, and reading.
Karen is a Registered Dental Hygienist. A graduate of Grand Rapids Community College with over 29 years experience. She has been serving our patients with tender loving care since she joined our practice in 1993. Karen loves spending time with her family, camping, gardening, Bible study, and singing in her church choir.
Donna joined the practice in 1998 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. With over 30 years experience, Donna enjoys staying current with the latest research in her field and uses that knowledge to educate and motivate her patients. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, bike riding, and landscaping.
Kim started out in our practice as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Stout, then went back to school for Dental Hygiene. She has been in the dental field since 1998 and is now a Registered Dental Hygienist with a degree from Grand Rapids Community College. She enjoys spending time with her family.
Pennie joined our practice in 2005 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Ferris State University and has over 31 years experience. She enjoys many positive changes in her profession. Pennie's interests are exercise, animals, and children.
Stephanie is a Registered Dental Hygienist. Always smiling with endless energy, Stephanie is a graduate of Grand Rapids Community College. She has been with us since 1999 and worked as an Assistant prior to becoming a hygienist. She loves to do creative memories and camping with her family.
